About the Company

Manufacturer of reinforced concrete structures was founded in 1976, in Gelgaudiškis, as Šakiai Shop of Vilnius Reinforced Concrete Plant. Since 1990, it is Šakiai state reinforced concrete plant. In 1993, through privatisation, joint stock company Gelgaudiškio gelžbetonis was founded, which in 1995 was re-registered into a private limited company. The authorised capital of the company is 100 per cent private.

Gelgaudiškio gelžbetonis UAB is a member of the Lithuanian Association of Land Reclamation Companies.

Young, initiative and qualified management of the company and experienced staff ensure ever-growing production volumes and ever-improving quality of products. The company has up to 100 employees during the high season.

Most products are certified and meet the EU requirements. The company successfully sells its numerous products all over the country and to foreign countries. Products for wells, road construction, land reclamation, electricity facilities, floor grates for livestock complexes, ready-mixed concrete, custom-made products are in particular in great demand.
